*Mom's note: she did get herself up to the 3rd rung on her own, scaring the beejeezus out of me. For this pic, Jeff put her higher, stepped away while I snapped and then grabbed her. For just one millisecond, she was ecstatic while I was holding my breath and wincing. Yiiiiikes. The ladder is now safely horizontal.
